Gentlemen
I received a letter yesterday from The Reverend Mike Proctor who is our branch Padre, inviting us to the Armistice Day Service to be held in the St Cuthbert's Church, Marton, on Wednesday 11th November 2009 at 10.45hrs.
At this service they will read out the names of those of this parish, who gave their lives in the service of their country in the First World War. They will also read out the names of service personnel who have died since the Great War.
If any one would like a name to be included please let me know and I will contact The Rev'd Mike Proctor.
The service will also be an opportunity to offer prayer for our armed forces personnel and to support those who are bereaved, injured or anxious.
