Gents, Ladies, and Coldstream followers:
Over the last couple of weeks I have been racking my brains to try and get something done that can help support the Coldstream Guards during their Tour of Afghanistan.
Leaving the Regiment in only a few weeks and watching all my friends and fellow Coldstreamers deploy has seen many mixed feelings come my way. To be honest, a few months ago I thought that it would be relief that would be the emotion that took over but that was far from the truth, as Coldstreamers are all forged from ‘Cast Iron Moulds’ – and to trying to explain those feelings to others who could not compare experiences would not (I am afraid to say) have the same effect.
I tell you this as I want you all to know how much passion I put into projects such as these. They are planned meticulously to ensure that the vision is equalled, if not superseded by the solution.
I have come up with three projects that all of you, some of you or even none of you may be interested in. If you aren’t interested I only ask can you please pass on these details to others that may be interested – that, in itself, will be enough.
All of these projects will allow everyone to taking part to ‘take something away’, but still directly help with the appeal to ‘help Coldstreamers Serving in Afghanistan’.

Firstly, I am proud to announce the 2010 Coldstream Guards (support in Afghanistan) CD Calendar. It has taken over 3 weeks to design and should appeal to everyone – not only Coldstreamers, with amazing images and Coldstream Trivia.
Secondly, is a simple clock that has been customised with a face that will promote the wristband appeal – plus it keeps very good time!
And last, but not least – will be the Coldstream Guards Op Herrick 11 Commemorative Capstar. This will be produced on completion of the Battalions Tour of Afghanistan and will allow YOU to get your name on a piece of Coldstream History. I am very excited about this project, and details will follow very, very soon!
More details on these projects are available at: http://www.shinycapstar.com/opherrick11supportpage.htm
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY – by taking part in any of these projects, you are directly *helping support the Coldstream Guards in Afghanistan.
*Profit from the sale of these items will be donated to the wristband appeal fund and also used to develop other items that will be sold to promote the wristbands appeal fund.
Thank you.
Adam
